Libraries in the capital offer readers favorite book auditions

The restrictions caused by the danger of being infected with the new coronavirus have stopped an important component of the "Chisinaul read" campaign. Thus, meetings with the authors of the books proposed for reading and discussions about the messages and value of literary creations were postponed. In this context, the team of the Municipal Library "Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu", as well as other institutions of the book offers the readers other communication formulas, reports Moldova 1.

Thus, readers can hear and even see on the Library's website the writer and playwright Dumitru Crudu, reading sheets from his novel "The Birthday of Mihai Nihailovici". And the other two books, "Strigăt pe Nistru" by Gheorghe Budeanu and "Moldiţa - Crăiţa and Zimbrişor - cornice on the DOR mountain" by Viorica Covalschi, recommended for reading in the context of the Campaign "Chisinaul reads" can be heard on the Facebook page of the Library.

In the idea of awakening the interest for reading, one of the programs made on our television station Moldova 1 "Lecturi a La Carte" was also placed. A discussion between the literary critic Maria Pilchin and Liliana Juc about a valuable memorial book "The little house from the cross" by Ion Druţă.

Thanks to the Novateca program, most libraries in Chisinau and in the Republic also offer other remote services to the users. Beyond reading the stories, the employees of the National Children's Library "Ion Creangă" urge parents to read their favorite books to their children.

"Our dear ones, take care of yourself, stay home, be patient, soon we will all go out, the most important thing is being together," said the director of the National Library "Ion Creangă", Eugenia Bejan.
