The folk band "Comorile plaiului" from Bieşti, promoter of the traditions of the nation

It promotes the village’s tradition and customs. We are talking about the folklore band "Comorile plaiului" from Bieşti, Orhei district, which for over 30 years has been famous throughout the world and brought together the villagers at the most important cultural events. As the members of the ensemble set out to be the promoters of the traditions of the nation, they interpret songs transmitted by generations, reports Moldova 1.

It's evening, so the rehearsals are all over. For years, the folkloric band "Comorii plaiului" in the village of Bieşti, Orhei district unites people in one voice and the most important in a safe soul - that of the folk song.

“Our mission is to promote the values that underlie our national dignity. Through traditions we hold on as a nation, as a people. The members of the band are really the value of the village, the band of interpreters is not too big but they are the soul, the soul of the village. There are times when they leave the dig on the hill or the fire in stove and come to rehearsals," said the leader of the folklore band, Nadejda Cucu.

The members of the band say that in this way they promote the history and traditions of the village. In addition, the habit of singing as a whole is passed down through the generations.

The folklore band “Comorile plaiului” from the village of Bieşti was established in 1987, and in 1994 received the title of model.
