Building of historical importance in Chisinau, renovated with the financial support of Romania

The headquarters of the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts in Chisinau, a building in which the Union of Bessarabia was voted with Romania in 1918, will be renovated with the support of Romania, reports Radio Moldova with reference to Infoprut.ro.

The money will be offered by the Iasi City Hall that adopted the budget in this regard. Thus, 500,000 Romanian lei will be allocated for the renovation of the building, equivalent of over 2 million Moldovan lei.

Currently, the Chisinau Country Council building is in an advanced state of degradation, despite the fact that the Moldovan authorities formally admit the status of a monument of architecture and history of national significance.
