Tribute to the eternal place of Doina and Ion Aldea-Teodorovici

October 30th has dramatic connotations in our souls. Following a tragic accident, Doina and Ion Aldea-Teodorovici, two great and beautiful artists, two patriots who built themselves in songs of love for the world, for friendship, but especially in patriotic songs that have encouraged and elevated the spirits of the people during the years of the National Liberation Movement, reports Moldova 1.

In the morning, people of different ages came to the place of eternal rest of Doina and Ion Aldea-Teodorovici with flowers, memories and regrets.

"We are lucky with Doina and Ion, we have a high dignity and spine. They are those uplifting spirits of awakening the national consciousness, the desire for independence, sovereignty, the Romanian language and the tricolor," specified Vlad Bileţchi, admirer.

An extraordinary occasion to reunite with the music of the great artists was every autumn the International Festival "Two Twin Hearts". This year, due to the pandemic, the event will not take place.

"I don't think we should risk the lives of the participating children. This will pass as others have passed and, if I can't, the Cristi festival will take place, which will take it further. The festival will not die," said Eugenia Marin, Doina's mother.

For many years, Cristi Aldea-Teodorovici has continued the difficult mission of gathering the archives of his parents, and now he is coming with an expected premiere.

"We are planning a kind of mini-exhibition with Doina's dresses. My mother represented in those years a symbol of style, aesthetics and common sense," mentioned Cristi Aldea-Teodorovici.

In this context, Cristi also said about the greatest joy.

"A little girl was born to us this year, whom we named in honor of her grandmother - Doina," said Cristi Aldea-Teodorovici.

Today, October 30, marks the 28th anniversary of the passing away of the "two twin hearts", Doina and Ion Aldea-Teodorovici.
