TeleFilm Chisinau launches the documentary "Goodbye, Olegovici!"

The destiny of a former detainee for theft is the topic of the documentary "Goodbye, Olegovici!" that was shot at the TeleFilm Studio in Chisinau. The premiere will take place today at 19:30, at the Odeon Cinema, under the 15th edition of the International Documentary Film Festival Cronograf, Radio Moldova reports.

The project coordinator is the director of TeleFilm Studio Chisinau, Mircea Surdu, producer - Leonid Melnic, and the director of the documentary is Eugen Popovici.

"Goodbye, Olegovici is a production of the TeleFilm Studio Chisinau, funded by the US Embassy in Chisinau. I worked with Leonid Melnic and Mircea Surdu. It is a film about the life of a young man who was about to walk out of prison for theft", said Eugen Popovici.

Producer of "Goodbye Olegovici!", Leonid Melnic, said the documentary would then be shown to a larger group of viewers.

"It's a movie that young people should see, but also parents who have teenagers, because in our movie we see  a big fault of parents , our hero was imprisoned. Everything happens in the family. Probably parents should learn more than children", said Leonid Melnic.

The awards gala will be held on Tuesday, on the last day of the International Documentary Film Festival Cronograf,  15th edition.
