51 Moldovans repatriated from Germany

On 18 April, the Bureau for Migration and Asylum ensured the transfer of 51 Moldovan citizens who were staying illegally on German territory. The readmission procedure was conducted under the aegis of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX), with an airline charter route, reads a press release of the Bureau for Migration and Asylum.

These people were returned accompanied by German authorities, being banned from entering the EU space for different periods.

Readmission is the procedure in which Moldova readmits  all persons who do not meet or no longer fulfill the conditions in force for entry, presence or residence on the territory of a european state.

The Bureau for Migration and Asylum alerts citizens who intend to travel to the European Union to comply with migration legislation as they risk to become subject to readmission, which may negatively impact the visa liberalization regime in the EU.
