Moldovan art and wines, promoted in the United Arab Emirates
Attracting investments from the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Moldova, especially in the agri-food field, were promoted within the international exhibition AGRISCAPE UAE, which took place in the city of Abu Dhabi. Asked by Radio Moldova, the Moldovan Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in the United Arab Emirates, Victor Haruta, stated that the event aimed to promote the image of the Republic of Moldova but also to provide the necessary information to potential investors.
At the same time, the ambassador specified that in Abu Dhabi, for the first time, an event promoting Moldovan art and wine was organized.
“The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) organized for the first time an event promoting Moldovan art and wine in this country. The purpose of the event was to promote the image of our country in the region but also to enable the wine producers in the Republic of Moldova to expand to new markets. The evening of Moldovan art and wine in the UAE gathered around 100 participants, including accredited foreign ambassadors in the UAE, representatives of the private sector, potential importers of wine and other agri-food products, as well as potential investors in the Republic of Moldova,” said Victor Haruta
