Romanian citizens from Moldova to vote in presidential elections in Moldova

Romanian citizens from Moldova will be able to vote, for three days at the presidential election in Romania due on November 10th. According to the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau, 37 polling stations will be opened in Moldova, Radio Moldova reports.

Thus, the polling stations will be open starting with Friday, November 8, from 12:00 until 21:00. On Saturday and Sunday, November 9-10, the polling stations will open at 09.00 and will close at 21.00. Voters who at 21.00 will be at the polling station, as well as those who will queue outside the polling station, can cast their vote up to 23.59.

12 polling stations will be opened in Chisinau, 2 polling stations-in Balti and by 1 polling station will be open in other 23 settlements. In order to participate in the presidential elections, Romanian citizens in the Republic of Moldova need a Romanian ID or a simple electronic passport issued by the Romanian authorities.
