Patent for Moldovans working in Moscow increased

The cost of a work patent for migrants working in Moscow has increased starting with January 1, from 4.5 thousands to 5000 rubles, Ria Novosti reports.

Amendments to this effect were adopted in late November 2018 at the meeting of the Moscow City Council.

According to the Chairman of the Economic and Finance Policy Committee of the Duma in Moscow, Ludmila Guseva, migrants with the right education and the possibility should come to work in Moscow. Earlier, she pointed that a measure of increasing the value of a patent for foreigners will help to complete the country's budget, and income will be spent on social needs.

Almost simultaneously with the Moscow Duma, Moscow's Regional Duma took the decision to increase the cost of a migrant work patent. From 1 January 2019, the cost of a patent increased by 450 rubles to 4.75 thousand rubles.
