MAEIE will organize charter flights for Moldovan citizens who want to return home

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) will organize several charter flights for Moldovans from the diaspora, who want to return home. President Igor Dodon announced about it after the meeting with Prime Minister Ion Chicu and the head of the Legislative Zinaida Greceanii.

"We want our citizens to come home, that is why charter flights will be organized every day for those who want to return home. The flights will be organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by lists, first of all the mothers with children, students and families will be included ”, said Igor Dodon.

Also, the president announced that 100,000 tests for COVID-19 will be purchased from China and could reach Moldova in the near future.

"We have enough tests, all those suspected of Coronavirus are tested in Moldova, the number of tests increases daily by 200. We ordered 100 thousand tests from China, the aim is to have a reserve for the needs of the Republic of Moldova," said Igor Dodon.

In all, there are 263 cases confirmed by COVID-19 in our country. 13 people were treated and discharged, and 250 are admitted to medical institutions for treatment.
