Over 25 million lei donated to fight COVID-19
Donations of over 25.4 million lei to fight COVID-19 were accumulated from individuals and legal entities, Moldova 1 reports.
According to a report by the Ministry of Finance, the financial means are transferred to the Government intervention fund. So far, financial means have been distributed in the total amount of 23.5 million lei. Over 51,000 protective coveralls were purchased from citizens' donations.
At the same time, one-off allowances amounting to 16 thousand lei were granted to employees in the healthcare system who were infected at work.
