Alexandru Slusari: We examine the possibility to directly address Kroll

The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova is going to address directly to Kroll, which investigated bank fraud, to get details from the investigation and the Kroll-2 report. The members of the parliamentary commission of inquiry on the elucidation of the circumstances of the robbing of the banking system in the country met today in the first session. According to the President of the Commission, Alexandru Slusari, deputy chairman of the Legislative, PPDA deputy, more people will be heard in the Commission and the competent authorities will be informed about this investigation.

"All committee members agreed that the main purpose of this committee was to elucidate all actions or inactions in 2010. At the same time, we decided to request from the Secretariat of Parliament all the documents from our predecessors: from the Commission Reidman and Raducan. If there are some papers for the Raducan Commission, then the Reidman Commission only left Parliament's decision to set up this commission. It's a suspect thing, but we'll ask for documents. Next week we will review all the documents and we will start hearing more people. I hope that at the beginning of next week we will come up with new and more interesting information. Of course we're looking at the direct address option, we have not decided today, but maybe we'll go directly to the Kroll Agency to receive this Kroll 2 report that we want access to and publish it," said Alexandru Slusari.

TRM.MD recalls that on Tuesday, June 11, the Supreme Security Council decided to publish the Kroll -2 report and urged the Governor of the National Bank of Moldova to submit the document as a matter of urgency.

The parliamentary commission of inquiry to elucidate the circumstances of the robbing of the banking system was created by the Parliament's decision taken on June 10.

The Parliament of the tenth legislature was dissolved by the decree signed by Pavel Filip and published in the Official Gazette. Later, President Igor Dodon announced the annulment of that decree.
