Budgetary allocations to cover the deficit of the Social Fund amounted to over one billion lei

Budgetary allocations to cover the Social Fund deficit amounted to over 1.185 billion lei. At the beginning of May, revenues in the state social insurance budget amounted to 7.8 billion lei, or over 36% of the level planned for 2019, reports Moldova 1.

Compared to the same period last year, allocations increased by 1.2 billion lei. The bulk of revenues, of 4.2 billion lei, constituted mandatory state social insurance contributions. Transfers from the state budget have increased from $2.61 billion lei to 3.5 billion lei.

The total expenditures of the state social insurance budget in the reporting period were executed in the amount of 7.4 billion lei. Revenues exceeded spending by more than 360 million lei.
