Avia Invest fully repaid the debts to the Civil Aviation Authority

"Avia Invest" SRL announces that it has fully repaid the debts to the Civil Aeronautical Authority (AAC) in the amount of 22.6 million lei, but also all the expenses regarding the execution of the debt.

"The repayment was made despite the unprecedented actions of the authorities and their desire to seize the company, by applying seizures on the money allocated by the investor and blocking them to the debtor, the money being intended for payments" Avia Invest "SRL. Therefore, the insolvency procedure "Avia Invest" and all pressures on the company must be stopped immediately ", the company's representatives informed in a press release.

"We hope that those arrears of taxes and fees to the budget will be paid just as quickly," said Prime Minister Ion Chicu.

"The investor understood that the debt to the state must be paid. We are not in July 2019 and you can't get rescheduling payments to the state. I was informed that the debt of about 22 million lei to the Civil Aeronautical Authority was paid today. It is a good thing ", the prime minister added.

We remind that, on Monday, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers announced that the Government will start the insolvency procedure of the "Avia Invest" company.
