NBM launches podcast "Where the money comes from"

A financial education podcast is being launched today by the National Bank of Moldova and the Economic Press Club. The audio program will be made by journalist Vitalie Condraţchi during 2020, with one episode per month being broadcast. The first episode entitled "Where the money comes from" talks about the emergence of banks and deals with topics such as lending, saving for the future, the payment system.

The podcast is part of the project "Learn! Give meaning to the money” carried out by the National Bank together with other institutions.

"A social commitment of the National Bank is to increase the level of financial education of the citizens, and this initiative will allow us to reach a wider audience, trained so that the decisions it takes to bring the expected benefits. Likewise, we want to offer the public the convenient opportunity to document themselves in an attractive format while doing other things: traveling in public transport, doing sports or doing other activities,” said the governor of the Moldovan National Bank, Octavian Armaşu.

The podcast can be listened to on the National Bank of Moldova page and on the podcast's own site - www.deundeaparbanii.md, as well as on the most popular specialized platforms - Google podcasts, Apple podcasts, Anchor.fm, Soundcloud and others.
