Companies from India and Indonesia, willing to invest in Moldova

Representatives of 20 companies from Indonesia and 30 from India are willing to invest in our country. They study the market opportunities in two business forums, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Investment Agency of the Republic of Moldova,Mesager reports.

Businessmen will also meet with central public authorities to discuss technical and legislative issues. At the same time, they will be able to conclude direct business contracts with Moldovan companies.

"Indonesian entrepreneurs are interested in the investment opportunities in your country, but also in the export opportunities. We would like to import cereals, such as wheat, barley, oats, corn from your country. We would like to develop joint ventures. Our businessmen could participate in the construction and rehabilitation of roads in Moldova, ”said Amhar Azeth, Indonesia's ambassador to Bucharest.

"Today's events that we organize are meant to put face to face the economic agents of these countries with those of the Republic of Moldova to link the necessary cooperation. India and Indonesia have a pretty good experience in processing fruits and vegetables. Investments in this sector would be welcome, "said Sergiu Harea, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
