Public-private partnership contract of the State-owned Enterprise Bus Terminals Stations to be terminated

The public-private partnership contract of the State-owned Enterprise Bus Stations and Terminals could be terminated. The Parliament approved the report of the Inquiry Commission which evaluated the preparation and development of the competition, regarding the modernization of the enterprise, reports Moldova 1 TV.

Representatives of the factions of the PSRM, PAS and PPDA said that some deviations were committed and the Government, the General Prosecutor's Office and the CNA are going to implement the Commission's recommendations.

The chairman of the structure, the MP of PPDA Igor Munteanu, said that the concession contract for a period of 25 years was harmful to the state.

"The basic criteria for selecting the private partnership were disproportionate to the purpose of the public-private partnership, it is not clear why, the Government has requested from the future partners the availability of own capital and enough financial means to ensure the investments and the cash flow of 400 million. of lei”, said Igor Munteanu, MP of PPDA.

Thus, the Government is going to review the existing regulatory framework and will order the Public Property Agency to prepare and to submit the monitoring report on the modernization of the company.
