As of today, the Republic of Moldova will only procure electricity from Cuciurgan
As of April 1, the Republic of Moldova will only buy electricity from Cuciurgan, at a price of $49.5 per MWH, or 9.0% less than so far. The insurance comes from President Igor Dodon and was made at a private television station, informs Moldova 1.
From April 1, the contract for the purchase of electricity is concluded, which was signed last year. So far, our country has procured 85% from Cuciurgan at a price of $52 for a MWH, and 15% from Ukraine, at a price of $64 for a MWH. Also as of today, our country will import natural gas from Russia at a price of up $15 less per thousand cubic meters.
Annually, the Republic of Moldova consumes about 3 billion cubic meters of gas. The contract with "Gazprom" was signed in 2007.
