Igor Dodon: Legal actions will be taken to return Air Moldova to state ownership

The state will take all legal actions for the return of the Air Moldova Company to the state property. A statement in this regard was made today by the head of state Igor Dodon, after the meeting of the Supreme Security Council, Moldova 1 reports .

"There are already documented premises and arguments that allow us to cancel the Air Moldova privatization agreement. In the near future, the state has initiated a cause in this regard. We have requested information on the activity of this company. We hope that this information will be presented today, "said Igor Dodon.

The president also said that the second issue examined at the Supreme Security Council was the concession of Chisinau International Airport.

"Recently, the state initiated the termination of the agreement signed between the Government and Avia Invest regarding concession to the Chisinau International Airport. For what reason? Due to the fact that at the time of the opening of the contest there were violations of the legislation, this is stated by the Government, by the parliamentary commission, which in the near future must come with a detailed report ”, said the head of state.

Igor Dodon announced that the authorities are currently considering opening the second International Airport. It could be in Mărculeşti.
