Industry of Moldova on a rise
In the first two months of the year, industrial production increased by 2.1% compared to the same period in 2018. According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the increase is due to the development of the extractive industry, the processing industry and the energy sector, Moldova 1 TV reports .
The data show that in January and in February, the extractive industry increased by almost 30%, the energy sector – by over 6% and the manufacturing industry - by almost 0.5 % compared to 2018.
According to NBS, the industrial production increased by 1.5% compared to the same period last year.
