The affiliated enterprises of "Moldovagaz" will be reorganized

The enterprises affiliated to "Moldovagaz" will be reorganized in 2020 and a single distribution company will be created, Moldovagaz announces. At the same time, the president of the Board of Directors of "Moldovagaz" SA, Vadim Ceban, called for the maximum optimization of the budgets for the current year.

"The separation of the transmission system operators is another priority of the year 2020 imposed by the legislation in force. The law on natural gas expressly stipulates the need to ensure the independence of gas transmission system operators. In this context, at the end of 2019, the plan for the reorganization of gas transmission operators was presented to ANRE,” reads a press release issued by Moldovagaz.

Due to the creation and functioning of the natural gas market, as well as the need to expand the sales market, "Moldovagaz" will identify new projects for the development of unregulated activities.

"A special project will target the development of filling stations for motor vehicles with compressed natural gas (SAAGC) throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova, including by providing partnerships with the local public administration authorities," according to the statement.

As stated by Moldovagaz, the principle of transparency will continue to be one of the basic principles of activity of the joint stock company. Thus, any tender will be published on the company page so that any contractor could access the procurement process.
