Ion Chicu: Chisinau International Airport must return to the state
Chisinau International Airport must return to the state, because its privatization was contrary to the legal provisions. The statement was made by Prime Minister Ion Chicu, after today's Government meeting. The Prime Minister announced that the Public Property Agency has submitted to the Chisinau Court the request to sue against Avia Invest regarding the invalidity of the concession contract of Chisinau Airport, reports Mesager.
"There are breaches in the execution of commitments. Avia Invest was notified, a financial claim was submitted for calculating penalties under agreement. The airport must return to the state, because it was concessioned against the interests of the state and with violations of the law ”, stated the PM Ion Chicu.
