Construction works on the Iasi-Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline to be completed in 2020
The construction works for the Iasi-Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline will be completed in 2020. This was announced by the company managing the pipeline, Transgaz.
According to a press release, the deadline is the first semester of the year. Transgaz also informs that by the completion of the project, Romania will deliver to Moldova, through the National Natural Gas Transmission System, 1.5 million cubic meters per day.
After the completion of the project, the transport capacity from Romania to Moldova will be from 1.5 to 2.2 billion cubic meters per year, as agreed, and from 4 to 6 million cubic meters / day respectively.
