Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure responsible for monitoring the petrol and diesel quality
The Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure will be responsible for the petrol and diesel quality monitoring system, under a Government decision, Radio Moldova reports.
The project was developed in order to implement the actions set out in the National Action Plan for implementing Moldova - EU Association Agreement for 2017-2019.
Thus, amendments were made to Article 5 "Protection of legitimate rights and interests of the consumer of petroleum products" in order to adjust the national legislation on the quality of petrol and diesel oil.
The project establishes the petrol and diesel quality monitoring system, which provides for the establishment of technical specifications for petrol and diesel, as well as for monitoring mechanisms based on European standards.
The petrol and diesel quality monitoring system comes to ensure the quality of petrol and diesel for both import and marketing at filling stations in accordance with EU legislation.
