Over 120 million euros have been invested in the economy of the Republic of Moldova in the last two years by Romanian businessmen
Over the last two years, businessmen from Romania invested more than 120 million euros in the economy of the Republic of Moldova. This contributed to the creation of eight thousand new jobs and the constant increase of the turnover of the Romanian companies.
The data were presented at the General Assembly of the members of the Romanian Investors Association in the Republic of Moldova, the event being attended by the Romanian ambassador to Chisinau, Daniel Ioniţă.
Romania is the main trading partner of the Republic of Moldova, with a share of over 27 percent in exports in 11 months of 2019, data from the National Bureau of Statistics from Chisinau shows.
