Peter Michalko: After this crisis, the need for reforms will be even more pressing

Once the pandemic is overcome, the need for reforms for Moldova will be even more pressing in order to recover more economically and socially. This is the message of the Head of the European Union Delegation in Chisinau, Peter Michalko in an interview with IPN. The ambassador said that in these more complicated times, the European Union is intensely communicating with the authorities of the Republic of Moldova, with all partners, reports Mesager.

Michalko has also expressed his support for civil society and for all those who are trying to help each other in these complicated times.

"It is important now that societies are focused on the prevention of the virus, which is clear after we go through this complicated period the economic life will be renewed and all these activities related to mutual trade and economic cooperation will continue. with investments because this is important for those who are employed", said Peter Michalko.

He also said that it is important and necessary for the EU to respect the rules on safety and health.
