Maxi-taxi owners in Chisinau will be exempt from paying taxes
The owners of maxi-taxi in Chisinau will be exempted from paying taxes for the period June 1 - December 31, 2020. The decision was adopted today at the meeting of the Chisinau Municipal Council, at the request of the Employers' Association of Car Transport Operators, Mesager reports.
The main argument was that the restrictions imposed by the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic have caused private carriers to suffer, many of them abandoned this activity.
Thus, at the beginning of March 2020 in Chisinau there were 742 maxi-taxi units while currently only 350 maxi taxis left.
