Russia agrees to consider new list of Moldovan fruit exporters

The Federal Office for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the Russian Federation requested the National Food Safety Agency an additional list of exporters of fruits from Moldova. Requirements submitted to listed exporters include the production and logistics infrastructure for the delivery of their own production and the removal of intermediaries, Radio Moldova reports.

The list will be sent to Rosselhoznadzor by July 15th.

It happens after this issue  was discussed in Moscow at a meeting between the delegation from Chisinau and Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev.

Deputy chairman of Parliament Alexandru Slusari announced that the list of fruit producers from Moldova that can export their products to  Russia, will be revised in the near future and all intermediaries will be removed.

"Thanks to agreements with the Russian leadership, the Russian side is taking new steps and extends the list of economic agents from Moldova that can export their products on the Russian market", wrote president  Igor Dodon on Facebook.
