The average salary on the economy has increased
The average salary reached almost 7,000 lei in the first quarter of this year and is 17% higher compared to the same period in 2018. In the budget sector, the average salary increased by 26.5%, reports Moldova 1.
This is what Premier Pavel Filip has said on his Facebook page. According to him, these results have become possible thanks to the Government's efforts, including the wage reform.
"We will continue to work to raise people's living standards," the head of the Executive promised.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the average wage in education reached 6,247 lei, up by 33.5%, while in the medical system it is 6,469, increasing by over 18%. The highest average salary is received by employees from information and communication sector - 15,454 lei.
