Customs Service: About 12 billion lei, collected at the budget since 1 January 2020

Since the beginning of this year, the Customs Service has earned about 11.9 billion lei. According to a press release issued by the institution, only in July, to the state budget, about two billion lei were collected.

According to the quoted source, over 45,000 customs declarations were permitted during the past month, and 420 violations of customs legislation were recorded.

In July, the flow of transport was 118,624 crossings. The most transited customs posts were Leuşeni and Giurgiulesti, 37,632 and 22,944 crossings respectively.

According to the Customs Service, citizens can obtain information (24/24) on border crossing rules with various goods or file complaints on possible abuses admitted by employees of the institution at the unique call center, contact number: +373 22 78

In last month, the information line operators responded to 5,237 requests for customs information.
