Customs Service collects over 460 million lei to the state budget within one week
Between October 21-27, 2019, the revenues collected by the Customs Service for the state budget amounted to 464.7 million lei, with 11 999 processed customs declarations, reads a press release of the Customs Service.
As for the fight against fraud sector, there were detected 163 violations of the customs legislation, of which 78 refer to cars with foreign registration numbers that exceeded the term of stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. Also, there were issued 127 lawsuits and fines amounted to about 505 thousand lei.
During the reference period, the flow of transport units constituted 79.429 crossings. The highest traffic values were reported at the Moldovan-Romanian border, and the most transit stations remain Leuseni and Sculeni, with 16.568 and respectively 12.787 crossings.
