Fuel stations have shown lower prices
Several filling stations have shown lower fuel prices. A liter of diesel and gasoline costs on average 0.60, and 0.70 lei less, respectively, and liquefied gas has been reduced by about 0.20 lei, reports Moldova 1.
The price for one liter of gasoline with the octane number 95 is 16.72 lei, compared to 17.42 lei, one day ago. One liter of diesel costs 14.72 lei, compared with 15.32 lei. The liquefied gas costs 9.97 lei, compared with 10.15 lei.
Since 2016, the National Agency for Energy Regulation established a bi-weekly ceiling price for petrol and diesel, but in March 2019, the Agency approved a new methodology. According to it, the oilmen set themselves the tariffs, without exceeding the annual rate of return of 10%.
The authorities announced that the ceiling prices will be re-established by ANRE. After this announcement, more discounts followed.
