Electricity tariffs could be reduced

Tariffs for electricity delivered to household consumers could fall by about six percent. A request for an adjustment of electricity prices was sent today to the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), and the supplier requested lower tariffs on all voltage levels, reports Moldova 1.

Thus, in the case of low voltage electricity networks, a tariff of 1.7824 lei per kWh is proposed, ie 5.7% lower than the current tariff.

The tariff for medium voltage networks, to which industrial enterprises are connected, could be reduced by 9.6% compared to the one in force and could be 1.3837 lei / kWh.

In the case of high voltage networks, a tariff of 1.2258 lei / kWh is proposed, decreasing by 11.2%.
