The EU is ready to reopen talks on macro-financial assistance to the Republic of Moldova

Prime Minister Maia Sandu had an official meeting with Chief of the European Union Delegation in Chisinau, Peter Michalko. The head of the Executive thanked the European official for the enormous help offered to the Republic of Moldova by the European Union over time, reports Moldova 1.

Maia Sandu assured the EU Ambassador that the new Government will meet the provisions of the Association Agreement with the EU and will respect all commitments on the reforms and principles set out in the Association Agreement.
 
The Head of the EU Delegation reiterated that the European Union is ready to reopen discussions on macro-financial assistance, provide financial support for cross-border cooperation projects, and support with international expertise to strengthen democratic institutions.
