The appeal of the Coalition for Free and Fair Elections regarding the organization of polling stations abroad

The Civic Coalition for Free and Fair Elections repeatedly urges the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) to hold official and transparent public consultations on the establishment of polling stations abroad, reports Moldova 1.

The call comes after several voters in the diaspora expressed concern about the correctness of the process of setting up polling stations abroad.

TRM.MD recalls that, previously, the organization of polling stations abroad for the presidential election was discussed during a working meeting with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. The topic was also addressed during a meeting with ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Moldova, responsible for the fair conduct of the election process abroad.

The decision on the organization of polling stations abroad will be taken by the CEC until September 26.
