The CEC approved the report on the election results for the presidency

At today's meeting, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) approved the report on the results of the November 1 presidential election. It contains an exhaustive description of the activities of preparation, organization and conduct of the presidential election.

The report is to be presented to the Constitutional Court together with the minutes of the totalization of the results of the second round of the elections of the President of the Republic of Moldova.

According to art. 122 of the Electoral Code, the Constitutional Court confirms or refutes, through an opinion, the legality of the elections within 10 days from the receipt of the documents from the CEC, but not earlier than the final settlement by the courts of the appeals filed according to the procedures established by legislation.
