CEC set up 2143 polling stations for the presidential election
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) reports that a total of 2,143 polling stations have been set up for the November 1 presidential election.
Of these, 139 are intended for Moldovans abroad, and 42 were organized for citizens with the right to vote in the localities on the left bank of the Nistru (Transnistrian region), Bender municipality and some localities in Causeni district.
Most polling stations will be opened in the Chisinau constituency no. 1, which includes the sectors and suburbs of Chisinau, with a total of 305 polling stations.
Polling stations will be set up by October 6, inclusively.
