CEC receives the documents regarding the registration of Igor Dodon in the electoral race
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) received the documents and subscription lists in order to support the candidate Igor Dodon for the position of President of the Republic of Moldova.
The documents and subscription lists are to be verified within seven days, after which the CEC will decide whether or not to register the candidate.
„From 800 to 1000 signatures were collected from 24 territorial administrative units of the second level, including 4240 from Chisinau municipality, 1309 - Balti municipality, 1770 from Gagauzia. In all - 25 thousand signatures. I am going to be on the 4th position in the ballot, after the CEC verifies and validates the submitted documents ", wrote Igor Dodon in a post on Facebook.
We remind that the presidential elections will take place on November 1, 2020. Officially, Renato Usatâi, Andrei Năstase and Tudor Deliu were registered in the electoral race.
