PACE party has nominated its candidate for president
The Party Acasa Construim Europe has announced its candidate, even if the party is not on the list of parties that can nominate a candidate for this year's election. Thus, the PACE National Political Council unanimously voted for Galina Cotorobai's candidacy, informs Mesager.
The PACE vice-president made several electoral promises in view of his acceptance in the presidential race.
We remind you that PACE sued the CEC because it was not included in the list of parties that can participate in the upcoming elections. Arguing its decision, the CEC stressed that only formations officially registered before the start of the election period can submit their presidential candidates. After the Court of Appeal declared the PACE action inadmissible, the Supreme Court of Justice sent the case for retrial.
We remind you that on September 11, the registration period of the initiative groups for collecting signatures in order to support the candidates for the position of head of state ended.
