Union means subsidies in agriculture from 170 Euro per hectare. The statement belongs to the candidate of the "Unirea" political movement for the position of president of the country, Dorin Chirtoaca. According to him, the Romanian government pays compensation for drought of at least 80% of the amount, reports Moldova 1.
The area subsidy amounts to 170 euro / ha per year for farmers who exploit up to five hectares and 220 euro / ha per year for those who process up to 30 hectares.
At the same time, the politician says that the union means the restoration of national dignity and respect for the Romanian identity.
Dorin Chirtoaca will be the number eight candidate in the ballot.
