The Eurovision 2020 National Final will take place on February 29

The final of the Eurovision 2020 national song contest will take place on February 29. A decision in this regard was taken by the organizing committee after the live auditions at the pre-selection stage.

In the competition held yesterday, February 1, 33 performers participated with 34 pieces. Twenty performers have passed the pre-selection stage.

The 20 pieces were selected by a jury composed from the composer Anatol Chiriac, the conductor of the "Moldova" Choral Chapel Gabriela Tocari, the director Andriano Marian, the president of the Union of Composers of Moldova, Pavel Gamurari and the director Mihai Agafiţă.

Therefore, at the second stage of the national competition they will compete:

Zavidia Maxim - Take control

The 65th edition of the competition will take place in Rotterdam and will consist of two semifinals: on May 12 and 14. The final will take place on May 16, 2020. The traditional music competition will be broadcast live by Moldova 1 and online on www.trm.md.
