Natalia Gordienko with the song "Prison" will represent the Republic of Moldova at the "Eurovision Song Contest - 2020"

Natalia Gordienko with the song "Prison" was declared the winner of the National Finals and will represent the Republic of Moldova at the "Eurovision Song Contest - 2020". The interpreter accumulated the maximum score. Nineteen interpreters participated in the final stage of the national competition.

In an interview with TRM.MD, Natalia Gordienko stated that she was experiencing great emotions, saying she was a fighter aiming to bring the Eurovision to Moldova. The song was composed by renowned Russian performer Filip Kirkorov in collaboration with a Greek team, and the back-vocals are from Sweden.

Natalia Gordienko with the song "Prison" will participate in the second semifinal of the European Song Contest "Eurovision Song Contest - 2020", which will be held on May 14 in Rotterdam (Netherlands).

The representative of the Republic of Moldova will compete with interpreters from Austria, Denmark, Bulgaria, Poland, Switzerland, Finland, Armenia, San Marino, Latvia, Serbia, Iceland, Georgia, Portugal, Czech Republic, Greece, Albania and Estonia.

In 2006, Natalia Gordienko with Arsenium and Conect R with the song "Loca" represented the Republic of Moldova in the "Eurovision" Competition, held in Athens (Greece), ranking 20th with 22 points.
