Road accident in Germany: At least 30 people injured

At least 31 people were injured in an accident in northern Germany after a bus left the highway and entered a ditch, notes Agerpres.

Three people were seriously injured, but their condition is not critical, a police spokesman said.

The accident happened around 05:45 (03:45 GMT) on Autobahn 24, near Woebbelin, in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

Flixbus, the bus operator operating a flight between Hamburg and Prague, said the driver had complied with mandatory driving and rest periods.

The company said all 30 passengers and two drivers were taken to hospital as a precaution.
