Aleksei Navalny was discharged

Russian opponent Aleksei Navalny, who was hospitalized in Berlin on August 22 after being poisoned, was discharged on Tuesday. The doctors who treated him in Germany say that it is possible for him to fully recover, writes digi24.ro.

"The patient's health has improved to such an extent that medical treatment has been discontinued," Charite Hospital in Berlin said in a statement on Wednesday.

Also, "doctors believe that a complete recovery" of Navalny is possible, it is also shown in the communiqué, where it is emphasized, however, that the possible long-term consequences cannot yet be assessed.

Navalny, the main opponent of Russian President Vladimir Putin, felt unwell during a flight from Siberia and arrived at the hospital in extremely serious condition. He was later transferred to Berlin. Medical laboratories in three countries have revealed that the Russian opponent was poisoned with the neurotoxic agent Noviciok. Tests conducted in separate laboratories in Germany, France and Sweden concluded that he had been poisoned with a noviciok-class neurotoxic agent, and European leaders demanded an explanation from the Kremlin, which denied any involvement. Russian authorities then carried out a preliminary investigation, but said they had found no evidence of poisoning.
