Travel alert in Italy: Orange and Yellow Storm Warning
Romanian citizens traveling to or transiting through Italy are being warned that it was issued on Sunday, for several regions of Italy, Orange and Yellow Storm Warning, precipitations and strong wind, writes Mediafax.
Romanian Foreign Ministry informs Romanian citizens that, according to data provided by local authorities, weather conditions will worsen as of May 12, with strong winds and temperature drops especially in the Emilia-Romagna region and the regions of the center and south of the country.
Thus, the Italian Civil Protection Service issued an Orange Storm Warning, intense rainfall and strong winds in Emilia-Romagna and Marche and Yellow Warning for the Veneto, southern Toscana, Umbria, Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise, Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria and Sicily.
The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided details about the sites that can be accessed to view the weather in Italy.
