The European Commission has called on the US to abolish visas for all EU countries
The European Commission has sent a new request to the United States of America to abolish visas for all EU Member States, including Romania, reports TV Moldova 1.
The European Commission on Wednesday presented an assessment report on the progress made over the past 12 months in achieving reciprocity of the visa regime with the United States, in the context in which it is the only case of non-reciprocity for the Community bloc.
The five EU Member States whose citizens require visas to travel to the United States are Romania, Bulgaria, the Republic of Cyprus, Croatia and Poland. US citizens do not need visas to enter the European Union.
