Coronavirus: The second day with almost 2,000 deaths in the US

The United States have recorded, for the second day in a row, nearly 2,000 deaths from the new coronavirus, according to the report presented Wednesday at 20:30 by Johns Hopkins University, notes AFP, quoted by Agerpres.

It is once again the world's worst daily balance since the outbreak of the pandemic.

This new record (+1,973 dead), slightly higher than the previous one (+1,939), amounts to 14,695 total deaths. The first world power has surpassed Spain (14,555 dead), but is less mourned than Italy (17,669).
