Alarming increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Romania and Ukraine
The situation is still worrying in Romania: 416 cases of coronavirus infection and 23 deaths in the last 24 hours. Most new cases were registered in Bucharest. In fact, the capital registers the most diseases in the last seven days, Mesager reports.
Thus, since the last official information, Bucharest registered another 74 new cases of infection, in all 3,349 cases.
In Romania there are 28,500 cases of infections.
There are over 47,600 cases of infection in Ukraine, and the death toll from the virus is 1,227. In the last 24 hours, 914 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed, of which only 118 in Kiev.
In the Transcarpathian, Volhynian and Rivne regions, the number of hospitalized patients is increasing dramatically.
In this context, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine announced that medical institutions are ready for the second and third wave.
