Several countries have tightened measures to limit the spread of COVID-19

Several European countries have tightened measures to limit the spread of Coronavirus. Hungary, the Czech Republic and Ukraine have recorded a record number of illnesses. Most infections remain in the Americas, India and Brazil. Meanwhile, China is testing a vaccine on people in the form of a nasal spray, Moldova 1 reports.

"About 180 vaccines are being developed, of which 35 are already being tested in humans. No disease has been researched so intensely so far, it is a testament to the incredible advances in science and technology that mankind has made in recent years," said Tedros Adhanom, director of the World Health Organization.

However, the number of infections continues to rise. There have been more than a thousand new cases in the Czech Republic for three days, and the number of patients in serious condition has increased.

There are also record infections in Ukraine, with more than 3,000 new cases detected. The spread of the virus has increased in Britain and France.

The high number of cases of new infections has led several states to tighten restrictions. In Austria, where the total number of infections has reached almost 32 thousand, the mask becomes mandatory in all enclosed spaces, and the number of participants in events is limited.

Portugal is also introducing new anti-COVID-19 rules. Assemblies larger than ten people are prohibited and social limits are required. It is also not allowed to drink alcohol later than 20:00.
