The British Parliament voted to postpone the exit from the EU and against a new referendum on Brexit

The British Parliament voted to postpone the exit from the EU and against a new referendum on Brexit. The exit from the EU was previously set for March 29, but the deadline was extended to at least June 30.

Unless a Brexit agreement is reached by March 20, the government is going to require another longer, but it will be necessary for the EU to agree to this postponement and set deadlines. Thursday's vote ends a week of extreme turmoil in the British Parliament.

The British elected have approved two motions that under no circumstances the United Kingdom can leave the Union without an agreement.
